Hello, My name is Steve Boshnyak and I have some questions about Batik. I have a need to view and manipulate SVG in a unix (Solaris) environment. I downloaded Batik from the Apache website but did not install the Adobe SVG viewer on my Netscape browser. When I run the Batik application (or SVGBrowser) I get the wait cursor but it never shows the file I selected.
I was able to compile the SVGApplication program and get errors. The errors have to do with the loader and DOM. I am sorry I do not have the actual errors available. Am I doing something wrong? Did I not install something? Can we display SVG in Unix? I would really appreciate any help.
