Hello! Batik 1.1rc4 is available with performance improvements and lots of bug fixes. Even though we had said that the rc3 was the last developer build before the final 1.1 release, the team thought it was better to have another developer release before the final 1.1 because of the large number of performance improvements and bug fixes.
Note that there are two new contributions from Henri Ruini (a rewrite of the SVG rasterizer) and Paul Evenblij (SVG generator image handling improvements). Note also that the number of tests in the automated regression test suite has greatly improved (over 630 tests now). The new build is available at: 1.
