Hello Batikers,

Batik is on http://www.xml.com :-) the title is "Server Side SVG"...in fact
three SVG article are on xml.com this week !!!

The article is about:
Apache Batik toolkit can enable serving SVG on the fly
and provide fallback to JPEG or PNG images for browsers without SVG support.

I would like to suggest that a new link be added to the "in the news:
section of the Batik web site:
http://xml.apache.org/batik/pr.html
[just copy the code below into the the repository]

<LI><A
href="http://www.xml.com/pub/a/2002/02/27/batik/index.html";>xml.com</A></LI>

I would like to suggest a better format for this section.

I would like to suggest that a small one or two sentences be add for each
article....to explain what is about...and maybe the title....just in case
more than one article is published from the same site ;-)

The article on xml.com is by J. David Eisenberg....He is the main author of
"SVG Essentials" and there is a section in this book that covers server side
SVG and batik is this book....so maybe there should be a link to this?

We all learn by sharing what we know
