Hi All, Just an update about the svg->pdf transcoder that is developed with FOP. Currently this is in cvs only.
- added transparency for shapes and images. It handles most of the samples in batik quite well (although the images sometimes make the document large), my favourite is mapSpain. (need acrobat 5.0 to see this) - releases memory used by adding images immediately. Before it was getting out of memory errors with the textRotateShadows.svg. - started implementation of patterns and gradients Patterns generally work. The gradient coordinates are currently wrong, I'm not sure how to get this right. - text bridge If the text can be inserted directly into pdf then it does not draw the text as shapes. It will be a while before it is ready for a release but it is improved quite a bit.
