Here is the enhancement for batik transcoder svg2svg PrettyPrinter. It will make the pretty printer become more pretty. Below is the added enhancement the complete file is attached

It is probably best to do both, if it's simple 'dev' is quicker but bugzilla will make sure it doesn't get lost.
The best way to submit something is not to attach the modified files but to submit the output of 'cvs diff -u' - you can run this on a specific directory or the whole tree. This way I can quickly look at _just_ the changed portions. Also all the commentary you put in your mail message should be included as comments around the change - this way the patch is self documenting and the documentation gets into the source.
