Hi Jeremias,

It was unfortunately taken 'off-list'. I've forwarded the
message I sent to the XML-PMC, which had the vote messages
as attachments.

Hi Vincent,

can you give me a pointer to the vote? I didn't find it in the archives.
If I can help with the account request just tell me. I'm quite familiar
with the process in the meantime having recruited a number of new
committer over in FOP-land.

Cameron, please report back on your progress. Thanks!

Actually, Thomas asked for a vote from the commiters and we got positive votes from all the ones who responded (I counted 8 positive votes). I did not get a request to move to the next step, but may be Thomas assumed he was done and we were in a dead-lock situation... bummer.

In any event, the next step is for you to sign the contributor license agreement. Then, I'll be able to request access to the CVS repository and you'll be able to access the CVS repository.

I'll send you the documentation and instruction in a private email,

Hi all,

The Batik committers just had a vote to add Cameron McCormack as a
committer.

I've Attached all the messages from the vote. The results were:

       +9, -0, 2 abstain.

I would like to officially extend the offer shortly (I will set
reply-to pmc), he should have a CLA on file already. If the
PMC could acknowledge that it was OK to extend the offer that would
be great.

Hi all,

This note is to request a vote on making Cameron McCormack a
committer on the Batik project. Cameron is actively pursuing adding
SMIL animation to Batik. He has provided a number of well done
patches to Batik over the past several months (many have been on
hold pending 1.5.1).

He is/was also part of the project that generated for the
'constrained attributes' SVG implementation on top of Batik. I think
that he would make an excellent addition to the project.

My vote:
        +1

Hi guys,

I am about to close voting, I haven't heard from you
Bill or Emmanuel unless I hear something by COB today I will
assume an abstain.

I have no objection but since I haven't been monitoring Cameron's contribs, it might be inappropriate for me to vote. Thanks!

- Bill

p.s. - yes, I'm still here :-)
