Hello Ruud, Thanks for your interest in SVG and the Batik project. For the Batik web start demo to be able to load a URL from an outside URL, we would need to change the security settings. I am unfortunately not in a position to work on this right now and my suggestion is to send an email on the Batik mailing list so that active commiters can look into this: http://xml.apache.org/batik/mailList.html Another option is to enter a request for extension at: http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla I wish I could tell you I'd work on this immediately, but that would not be realistic, so the above is the best way to get the extension you are asking for, Regards, Vincent.
