Because of the performance improvement I also tried the latest version of batik instead of version 1.5.1. But I'm having a problem with the latest build.
Thanks for trying it out!
Now only when I'm using the video tag everything works perfect. When I also use the <rectvf> tag the batik viewer starts the build, executes registerTags and getImplementedExtensions, but it never finishes the build, neither it starts the rendering.
I take it there aren't any exceptions? Does it ever call your 'rectvf' bridge?
You say 'build' however the things you list are associated with the 'parse' phase (before bridges get involved).
I'm already searching on this for a couple of days, and I'm already thinking of going back to the 1.5.1 release :-(
:(
Are there some other things I need to take care off? If wanted I can also post the code for the rectvf bridge extension, which is nothing more than the rect bridge with support for alarms.
Feel free to post, but I can't think of anything new that needs to be taken care of but I could be forgetting something that your code would remind me of.
