http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=34631 Summary: Batik inside of Eclipse using bridge memory heap causes crash Product: Batik Version: 1.5 Platform: Other OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: critical Priority: P1 Component: Bridge AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] We are using Batik for rendering svg diagrams inside of Eclipse. We have tried Eclipse 3.0 and 3.1 with Batik 1.5 and 1.6. I have scaled down the problem to using only JSVGCanvas and the AWT/SWT bridge in it's simplest form. As svg diagrams are loaded with the JSVGCanvas new memory is allocated on the heap. This memory is seldom returned and cleaned up. After between 5 and 20 minutes of reloading svg graphics Eclipse gives a heap out of memory error. I have tried increasing the heap size and it still crashes eventually. Please contact me for the plugin code. I am using Redhat Enterprise 3 update 3 Linux. Thanks.
