This is a good place to start: http://maven.apache.org/project-faq.html Here is the POM reference: http://maven.apache.org/pom.html The Jakarta Commons "parent" POM http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/jakarta/commons/proper/commons-parent/trunk/pom.xml and e.g. the Commons Lang POM http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/jakarta/commons/proper/lang/trunk/pom.xml are good examples to work from. I might also be able to help.
