(anonymized) files in .zip in attachment
mask_image_testing.svg is the file that gives the problem.
It rasterizes without trouble into a PNG.
It does create a PDF file, which is reported as being "broken" by
Acrobat Reader.
rasterizing the 2 other files (which are used as ingredients) gives no
trouble.
I'm only using SVG features that i've succesfully rasterized with Batik
before.
