OK, I downloaded that same source snapshot and came across that problem. I think the issue is that the source distribution does not include the forrest.properties file from SVN, which is required to make the forrest documentation build properly. I've fixed this in SVN now, so if you wait until tonight's source snapshot is built and then grab that, it should work.
