This issue was created to make sure the related mailing list thread
("UnsupportedOperationException in SVN revision 746293 (
https://svn.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi?view=rev&rev=746293 )", which can be accessed
through the report's URL) doesn't get lost.
As suggested from the mailing list thread, an incomplete commit could have been
the guilty. Thomas stated that probably a performance hit was introduced, so
I'd vote for rolling back the commit. I'm not sure if other things beyond
markers were broken, as the commit involves other files as well.
I'm CC'ing DVHolten to call for attention, as no reply was received on the
mailing list thread. ;-)
