(I believe this was already answered to previously in the mailing list
-- a search within the archives [1] may help -- but here goes: Some
information on Batik's architecture is already available in the online
documentation [2] (which, by the way, is fairly complete). Also,
Cameron has a nice post [3] in the mailing list containing some
interesting information, and also a great presentation [4] on Batik
which can be useful as ignition. ;-)
