JSVGCanvas & MVC

Hi, I'm a new user to Batik  ( I should say Great Package! by the way to everyone who worked on it. ) I've run sample based on the JSVGViewerFrame and JSVGCanvas and I noticed that creating a new Window in JSVGViewerFrame creates and loads an entirely new SVGDocument, GVT Tree, etc. which is then rendered.   Is there an easy to create an additional view on the same document and tree? That is, changing (e.g. hiding an element) in the doc. or tree (Model) updates the multiple views?  I looked for a while at the the documentation but am finding a little mysterious. Thanks in advance.
