I suspect Mac OS X. I have experimented with replacing all calls
to paintImmediately with a simple 'repaint' and this seems to solve the
problem. I haven't ever committed this 'fix' since I don't know what
it's impact on other platforms is.
If you aren't using Mac OS X, then we have no idea. If you could
send us information on the platform, JDK, what release of Batik, etc...
It might help us come up with ideas.
