Hi Felipe,

Batik will recognize ecmascript and not _javascript_, so you should use :
        <script type="text/ecmascript">

The second thing is that svgDocument is not defined as a global object for accessing the document. Replace in your script 'svgDocument' by 'document' and it will work.
