Hello Darrin,

You should put the Batik jars in your classpath, not simply the directory where the jars are.

I've just installed the batik 1.5 binary distribution on my PC running Windows XP.

I can't get the examples to compile. The java compiler can't find any of the classes, e.g. org.apache.batik.swing.JSVGCanvas.

I've set my CLASSPATH environment variable like so.

?

C:\jdk1.3\lib;C:\jdk1.3\jre\lib; C:\batik-1.5; C:\batik-1.5\lib;

?

Am I missing something?

?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Darrin A. Smith
