I have an application that we have tested for the last few months.
The application is deployed using Java Web Start and is run as a secure application.
The SVG is dynamically created on the client, and it contains references to image urls on the server that served up the java web start.
Just recently we deployed to a new client machine that connects to the same web server.
When they run for the first time every thing works fine.
When they close the client JVM and then restart Java Web Start from the browser we get
"A security exception occurred while processing the URI 'htpp://.........'"
at org.apache.batik.bridge.SVGImageElementBridge.createImageGraphicsNode.
To our knowledge images specified in SVG are not cached between sessions, though there is a cache for the life of the VM.
So why would loading the application for the second time behave differently.
Any pointers to where we can look would be most appreciated.
Client Operating System: Win2K.
Batik: 1.5
