Hi, As Thomas say there is currently no monochrome tiff. I think you can use batik Api to generate PNG monochrome and then pass it again to converter program (eg: ImageMagick) to generate Tiff monochrome. However, this is much slower because 2 times conversion.
Or maybe you can use ImageMagick directly to generate Tiff monochrome. I never use ImageMagick check its website for more info.
