Currently i am trying the latest fop to see if this makes some difference.
When i use batik-1.5 it works fine but i would really like to use 1.6 as it
is much faster when converting.
The latest FOP won't help much unless you make the suggested
modification to the FOP sources, and rebuild the pdf-transcoder
jar file.
