Just as a point of style I would strongly suggest avoiding the
use of the 'SVGOMXXX' classes in your code. You should only use
these when absolutely necessary They are Batik's 'private'
implementation of DOM Core/SVG DOM - you should use those
interfaces in your code unless you _Really_ need access to
internals.
