No, progression-align is not supported. In fact, it is not so easy to
align text not at the top when you have arbitrary shapes.
That's too bad. I'm looking at this from a strictly "rect" perspective,
and it would be sweet to have. Do you know whether the feature will
return at some point, when SVG 1.2 gets finished?
Opacity works for me with this example, with the latest SVN:
Yeah. It was another hickup on my part, I accidently removed an
id-attribute and so my code couldn't find the parent in the first place.
It's all well now, sorry to have bothered you without checking more
thoroughly first.
