FYI,
I happened to file a memory leak bug against 1.6 in bugzilla last
week, before 1.7beta1 was released. I just ran the bug's test case on
1.7, and 1.7beta1 has this bug also. Very easy to reproduce with the
included torture test (and kindof fun to watch too :-)
