Thanks.  I clearly looked in that directory, but overlooked the plethora of

As mentioned in lib/README.xml-apis-ext.txt in the distribution,
xml-apis-ext.jar comes from the XML Commons project,

  http://xml.apache.org/commons/

which should have all of the included org.w3c classes.
