Hello,

I'm developing an MS Paint-like application using batik. When the window of the
app is resized repeatedly at a relatively quick rate (one of the testers found
this one :) ) you can very reliably get a failed update from the update
manager. After this happens, the canvas is useless. We figured out that
resetting the zoom level refreshed the canvas in the way we wanted ... however
this sometimes resulted in an infinite loop (where resetting the zoom resulted
in an updateFailed call). How else can the canvas be returned to a usable state?

Thanks,
Jeff Abernathy
