Mike and I enjoyed running BayFP for its first year, but eventually it
became too much overhead to find both new locations and new speakers
for each session. I'd be happy to get anyone access to the relevant
bits if they'd like to pick things up.

I don't think there was a shortage of speakers per se, especially if
you can find folks visiting the Bay Area for conferences and other
events (that's how we got Phil Wadler, Alexis Richardson/Tony
Garnock-Jones, and Don Syme, for example).
