I use VM and BBDB - same versions as you but with NT Emacs 20.7. I see
the same problems of not being in sync. I haven't seen the problem
where the summary buffer is replaced though.
I can't vouch for this, but when I did a cvs update from the directory
tree yesterday, it seemed to get better. Maybe you want to try that.
Has someone been working on this integration (VM/BBDB) recently?
