This news will affect the value that bbdb-phone-area-regexp should
have. I'm only including a small ``reasonable user'' excerpt here in
an attempt to avoid violating anyone's copyright interest.

As of 7 January 1995, the current value of bbdb-phone-area-regexp will
fail to match a valid area code, the new 630 area code for the Chicago
area.

LIVINGSTON, N.J. (AP) -- Eight areas around the country will be
getting new area codes next year -- the first ones that don't have a
1 or 0 as the second digit.
Bellcore, which administers telephone area codes in North
America, said Wednesday it will begin using area codes with 2
through 9 as the middle digit because the last of the 144 possible
combinations under the present system took effect in southeastern
Pennsylvania in January.
