Hi,
After all this fuss around BBDB in gnu.emacs.help, I downloaded it from
ohio-state, and found it to be a great thing!

There are some things though that seems to be missing (or is it just me
who is missing them?):

1. It adds a record into the database on everyone who sends me e-mail,
regardless of whether I press ":" or not; even on the
   MAILER-DAEMON. Why?!
2. If *BBDB* displays only part of the DB, I have to do M-x bbdb to get
the whole thing. I bound TAB to bbdb, and I think it should be the
   default.
3. The phone number handling is awful. It doesn't allow international
numbers. Yes, I know of "bbdb-north-american-phone-numbers-p", but
then I don't get the number "beautified". It would be a good idea to
ask for the number like it's done with the address: first, the
country code, then the area code, then the phone number, then the
   extension.
4. A fax field should be a default one. If I define it myself, I don't
get the "nice" phone handling interface.
5. There shoulld be an interface to the printer - for printing the
addresses, and to the phone - for dialing. The first one is absent,
as far as I can see from C-h (although there is a mysterious
bbdb-print.tex file), the second one is fairly lame: it should (IMHO)
try to be intelligent: if we are on Linux, check if the modem is in
use, and if not, do something like `echo 'ATDT*******;'`; otherwise
   do something else.

Just my $0.02.
