I am encountering troubles using BBDB, so I would appreciate help of
experienced users...
        I got :
        - BBDB 1.50 (which as far as I know is still the latest one),
        - GNU Emacs 19.28.1 under Sun Sparc Solaris 2.3

        I use VM and GNUS.

And what is my problem ?? Sometimes I choose an operation that
starts bbdb-com, so I see the message "Loading bbdb-com...", and then I wait
a more or less long time (watching "garbage collecting..." lines) until I
got the message "Memory exhausted".

I've compiled myself the BBDB package, and I am not a Lisp hacker,
so perhaps I made something wrong. I compiled each of the package with

        emacs -batch -q -f batch-byte-compile <module>.el

I had many warnings (reference to free variables, obsolete
variables) but no fatal errors.

Has someone experienced (and resolved) a similar problem ? Do I need
some patches ?

Thanks for your help. Please answer by direct E-mail
