I'm a mean and nasty militant CVS freak who thinks that generated
files shouldn't be in CVS[1], and people working from CVS should have
developer tools. Of course, I'm not /that/ mean and nasty; you can get
the configure script from the nightly tarball. It rarely changes, so
you should only need to grab it once for the foreseeable future.

I tend to run BBDB uncomplied myself because it guarantees me that I'm
getting the current edits I'm making and not the unedited binaries - I
missed a few bugs because of the latter.

[1] Yes, bbdb-2.20.tar.gz shouldn't be in CVS. It's coming out soon, I promise.
