I guess the current Emacs behaviour works for you as well, then :)
(although you didn't mention if it was emacs or xemacs - no cookies
for you!)
This is yet another feature of the GNU Emacs mouse-hilight stuff that
I'm really getting annoyed with. I'm somewhat reluctant to add yet
another configuration variable to get around this (such as
bbdb-dont-highlight-mouseovers, or whatever) so I'll see about
tightening up the overlays in Emacs to match the XEmacs
behaviour. Yay. More GNU-specific code. XEmacs only highlights the
entire record when you mouse over the area to the left (not right, as
previously stated) of the field names, which is relatively small.
If it wasn't for the fact that I use GNU Emacs myself, I'd probably
have given up on supporting it at this point.
