Sorry, I guess I don't understand. When I say "regular elided display",
I mean the not-pop-up one-line display you get but pressing 't' on a
record. The default (as in multi-line) display is not affected by the
bbdb-pop-up-elided-display-fields variable. I'm not sure anymore what
you mean by one-line display.
