Dear Waider,
thanks for the correction. I didn't submit my problem as a bug report as I
don't consider it a bug, just my inability to work out how to use perfectly
acceptable code.

However, I can tell you my version of Emacs is NTEmacs 20.7.1, and BBDB version
is the latest release from Sourceforge, 2.32.

The only modification I've made to any code that I've kept is to set the
default TeX output file so that it is saved into my c:/latex/ directory which
is also the directory where the bbdb-cols.tex and bbdb-print.tex files are. I
have been able to process files and get good output, but I haven't been able to
format this for a filofax binder.

I have searched both the mailbases on Sourceforge and not found anything (lots
of talk about changing to an XML format, but nothing to help with my problem)
and Google groups (likewise).

Any tips would be gratefully received.

Regards

Richard

OK, so what's the speed of dark?

*=> Richard,
*=>
*=> it makes it far easier for people to debug your problem if you do the
*=> following:
*=>
*=> 1. report your problem using bbdb-submit-bug-report, or at the very
*=> least give your emacs version and bbdb version.
*=>
*=> 2. if you've modified something, attach the relevant code. For bbdb
*=> variables, bbdb-submit-bug-report will do this automatically.
*=>
*=> 3. if something doesn't work, be specific. Give a stacktrace. Cut and
*=> paste the output of the compile, if that's what's failing.
*=>
*=> 4. Before you mail the list, check the list archives to see if someone
*=> else has had this problem.
*=>
*=> Cheers,
*=> Waider.
