Hi, Hello, Etc.

I'm still alive. I'm still allegedly maintaining the BBDB, although
mostly at the moment that's sheperding other peoples' patches into
CVS. Which I'm quite happy to do, I might add, if you've got patches
to offer. I'm not quite so good at chasing down bug reports and I know
there are a few outstanding. I have a BBDB mail folder with 300+ mails
in it, many of which are relating to solved issues, some of which
relate to unsolveable issues, and the rest, well, um, mumble. I'd like
to continue in the current role of maintainer if it's okay with all
you user/developer-types, but if someone feels that a coup is
required, go right ahead and tell me. FWIW, I'm tooling with
BBDB/vCard code at the moment - which I know Chris Beggy worked on a
few years back - so it's not like the project's entirely dead or
anything.

For the record:
- somewhere I still have a great plan for generic BBDB import/export
- I have no notion what the preferred coding system is, I just wish
  the whole issue would vanish
- I will not under any circumstances fix a bug against any CVS
versions of Emacs/XEmacs; released code only, thanks
- that aside, I'm quite open to patches

Hope y'all are well and BBDB is doing good things for you.

Cheers,
Waider.

You say to AjD, "but seriously, looks good from where I'm slumping."
