I thought at first this was a reference to possibly needing extra swap space
when loading all those email folders into emacs but I guess it is referring
to folks no longer needing to gzip email folders?

I've used vm-visit-when-saving for the last <mumble> 10+ years maybe I
should look into uncompressing all that email!
