Hi, thanks for the patch. Frankly I'm a little wary of making such widespread changes; instead, I've modified aclocal.m4 to quote EMACS_PROG if it has a space in it. This should fix the problem in one place. It seems like this is a larger problem, though; autoconf doesn't appear to cater for this issue with any of the other things it looks for (e.g. with the AC_CHECK_PROG macro).
