No at least not with my settings
I have created a ~/.bbdb with the record
["eddies" nil nil nil nil nil ("[EMAIL PROTECTED]") ((creation-date .
"2007-03-05") (timestamp . "2007-05-28")) nil]
You should try debugging it as I cannot see where it fails
and it works just fine for me.
