A few days ago, I tried to post my new version 3.01 of BBDB here on
this list. However, my mail exceeded the maximum allowed size.
So now I have posted it on the gnu-emacs-sources mailing list,

http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/gnu-emacs-sources/2010-08/msg00012.html

Indeed, since my last post in May I had received one email from the
current official BBDB maintainer Robert Widhopf-Fenk, where he had
offered to pass on maintainership. But then he has not yet replied
to my mail. (Dear Robert, if you read this, please contact me!)

In my version 3.01 I merged all generic code for the MUA interface
in one file, bbdb-mua.el. See the file README for my changes to the
MUA interface.

For the other changes, see ChangeLog. (I apologize: while ChangeLog
should contain all changes affecting the usage of BBDB, other
changes of internal code are not all listed there. There were to
many small changes.)

Any feedback is appreciated.

Roland
