Cool, thanks Roland. I’ll continue to use that creation function.

How would I go about contributing to BBDB? Should I simply post patches to the 
mailing list, or would I have go to through the whole GNU copyright assignment 
process (which I am happy doing)?

To ease your reviewing load, I’ll include tests in patches using ERT, where 
necessary.
