the script is:
tell application "BBEdit" to open file "Drive:Users:me:Desktop:I
Once Had a Sparrow Alight Upon My Shoulderaaaabbbbbzzz12345678"
(obviously not the real file, but the result is the same.)
Just change "file" to "alias".
tell application "BBEdit" to open alias "Drive:Users:me:Desktop:I
Once Had a Sparrow Alight Upon My Shoulderaaaabbbbbzzz12345678"
