There's nothing wrong with it except that the xml prolog (actually anthing on the first line of the file that isn't the doctype definition) throws Internet Explorer and Opera 7.0x into quirks mode[1]. Unless you have a reason to want quirks rendering mode with those browsers it's best to leave it off.
