What is the best way to debug php scripts with BBedit ?

Currently, I copy/paste text from BBedit into a free version of Zend Studio for debugging
It would be great to take Zend out of the picture.

Also, 'Preview with BBedit' appears to show nothing if there is an error in the script.
Can 'Preview with BBedit' be configured to show errors ?
On that account, I turned on the Debug feature in Safari...but still get nothing if I preview a 'incorrect' php script like:
<?php
bunch_of_incorrect'@#$%6
?>

Is there a better way to debug than copy/pasting between BBedit and Zend ?

many thanks
g
