I'm kind of surprised that Bare Bones Software would do something
annoying like this.
Historically, Bare Bones has been a cool company. I hope they'll come
to their senses on this one.
According to the source control servers, we've shipping this code
for something
around 3 years. Honestly, how much of a hardship has it been?
Not defending Evan's rant here, but it's an annoyance for me a couple
of times a week. Enough so that I work hard to avoid having to use
the iMac. Ever.
I just wish BBEdit could know when it was running under a user
account that did not have access to the screen (a FUS-out account).
But I deal with it, and don't complain too much.
