I'm working a lot on XSLT at the moment -- I use Marc Liyange's TestXSLT (http://www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/#testxslt) which is useful, but basically you're working in a big TEXTAREA field.

Ahh ... but at the bottom of that big text area is an "Open" button. Use that to open the XSL file you are working on in BBEdit, but DON'T make your changes in TestXSLT. Keep making your changes in BBEdit and when you hit save the changes will show up in TestXSLT. Then just hit Process to see your results.

TestXSLT is scriptable so you could write a script to save your file in BBedit, switch to TestXSLT and process and show the results.

Don't forget to use Marc's XSLT glossary for BBedit: http:// www.entropy.ch/software/welcome.html#xslt-glossary
