So I find myself on a team going through the old "tabs vs. spaces"
battle, with a bunch of code with intermingled tabs & spaces.
Found this page: http://www.barebones.com/products/bbedit/
automator.shtml and thought bingo, we can fix everything with
Automator. Created a simple workflow :
1) Get Finder Item (drag in file or files)
2) BBEdit : Convert spaces to tabs
Run the workflow, it doesn't complain, but... documents are
unchanged. Is it assumed that the workflow will rewrite files on
disk, in place without prompting? (I get a prompt for the number of
spaces to convert, but no other prompts). I don't see any Automator
options re: saving files that have been operated on. Am I missing
something really obvious here?
