My workflow is as such:
In my role as a web developer, I often find myself working on more
than one website at a time. I'll be in one of Interarchy's SFTP
sessions doing something mindful ... and then get called to work on
another website. Not wanting to drop what I am doing on the first
site, I've found BBEdit's drawer view wonderful to organize each of
my sessions in.
So, session 1 may have 5 problematic files ... all alphabetically
organized into one drawer as they should be.
And then I get the call from a different customer asking me to do a
quick fix. I may have to open even 3 of his files for this.
The way BBedit works now, I have 2 options ... all files will either
individually open into new front windows, or they'll open into the
drawer of my existing frontmost window. so ... (assuming i've set
BBedit to open new files directly into my frontmost windows
drawer) ... Combining all 8 files from 2 different sites into one
drawer would probably complicate things, and often does.
So in short, the way I use drawers is by task, all the files of a
given task are in a drawer'd window. Every new task warrants the
creation of a new drawer'd window to hold its files.
If BBedit had the option to open new files into a NEW window's drawer
only if 2 or more files were opened at once, it would be ideal. I
sent this off as a Requested Feature earlier this week to BBEdit
support. In the meantime, Peter Lewis had suggested an applescript to
do the job and it seems to be working great! Thanks again Peter.

Best combo, BBEdit & Interarchy :)
I really wish that when i opened more than one file at a time,
bbedit would know to open those files in a drawer. Only when i
open a single file remotely do I want it to go in its own window.
Is this currently possible to pull off with a setting somewhere?
Hm, I think it's not possible currently. First thing is, but the
later one isn't. Well, both cases are possible, but just not at the
same time, combined in the way you want them to be.
Anyone else doing this?
I just open them in the same window (drawer) all the time...
