Actually, I'm aware of that feature, read my last post a little more and you'll see my situation is different.

I really wish that when i opened more than one file at a time, bbedit
would know to open those files in a drawer. Only when i open a single
file remotely do I want it to go in its own window.

I don't have Interarchy to test this on, but I do the same thing using Panic's Transmit, and things work exactly as they would with local files:

1) Selecting and double-clicking multiple documents in a Transmit window opens all the files in a single BBEdit window with all the files listed in the Document Drawer.

2) Opening additional documents from a Transmit window will add those documents to the existing BBEdit window in the Document Drawer.

My relevant BBEdit preferences are set as follows:

Document & Drawer -> New & opened documents: Open in the front window
Document & Drawer -> Documents opened from other applications: Open in the front window Document & Drawer -> Open the Documents Drawer: When a window contains two or more documents

Perhaps you don't have the "Documents opened from other applications" preference set to open in the front window?
