Howdy all, I'm evaluating BBEdit 8.5, as writing C/C# in Xcode, or
SubEthaEdit is less than fun. I've looked into the code folding
feature, which is nice, its on its way to being usable, but I don't
think its quite there, but I can live without it for now. (Although
C# and Java have similar method prototypes, and those _should_ be
supported by folding IMHO)
However, I'm wondering about actual _autocompletion_, and I'm not
talking about the template-style-clippings. While writing code I want
to autocomplete variables, or function names. SubEthaEdit does it
quite well, it seems to generate an index from variables and
functions in the open files, and in some cases (PHP for example) has
an index of the API's functions. Does this even exist in BBEdit? I
could easily be missing it.
Cheers,
